Teaching Quranic Concepts at Schools Stressed in Sudan

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Sudan’s minister of Awqaf stressed the importance of teaching religious sciences and Quranic concepts at schools.

 

According to gate.ahram.org, Nasruddin Mufarrah, the Sudanese minister, who was speaking in a ceremony held to honor Quran memorizers in Cairo, also highlighted the importance of contemplating the Quranic concepts and learning Quranic virtues.

The program was held on August 3 in order to honor Quran memorizers of the Club for Egypt’s official judiciary advisors in 2020 and 2021.

The program was held with the participation of Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa, Egypt’s Minister of Awqaf, Ahmad Umar Hashem, former president of Al-Azhar and member of the Supreme Council of Al-Azhar Scholars, Osama Al-Azhari, advisor to Egypt’s president in religious affairs, Nasruddin Mufarrah, Sudan’s Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs and Muhammad Elyas Al-Haj, Sudan’s ambassador to Egypt.
