Quran Contest Planned in Kazakhstan

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The 10th edition of a Quran competition in Kazakhstan will be held on October 6 and 7 in the city of Turkistan.

 

According to the Iranian Cultural Center in Kazakhstan, the Quranic event will be organized on the 30th anniversary of the Independence Day of the Central Asian country.

Memorization and recitation of 30, 20 and 10 Juzes (parts) of Quran are the categories of the contest.

Top participants in the preliminary stage of the contest held at regional level will compete in the final stage.

The participants should be a citizen of Kazakhstan and not have been among the winners of previous national and international Quran competitions.

The Quran contest has been planned for those aged 30.
