TEHRAN (IQNA) – Almanabr Alquraniya Society of Kuwait announced the construction of 26 mosques in the year 2021 in three countries.

According to Mohammad al-Shatti, vice president of the administrative affairs of the Society, building mosques and Quranic centers in areas that lack such places is among the main focuses of the Society.

With the help of God and philanthropists, the Society managed to build 14, five, and seven mosques respectively in Syria, Yemen, and Somalia, he said, adding that each of the mosques can host around 200 individuals.

He also said Kuwaiti philanthropists are eager to help Islam by offering donations for mosque construction as Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) once said that anyone who builds a mosque, the God Almighty will provide them with similar one in the Paradise.
