In a speech on Monday during a trip to the southwestern province of Khuzestan, Hojat-ol-Islam Abdollah Hajisadeqi, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution’s representative in the IRGC, said the Islamic Republic is facing enemies that hatch various plots against the country.

In order to confront such adversaries and foil their plots to protect the people’s security and peace, the country should be powerful, he said.

Becoming more mighty has different aspects, the cleric said, adding that they include progress in hardware like missiles and weapons as well as intelligence dominance.

It also involves enhancing people’s religious insight and awareness, he went on to say.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Hojat-ol-Islam Hajisadeqi praised Basij (volunteer) forces for continuing to support the Islamic Revolution in all fields.
