Egyptian Preacher, Ibtihal Reciter Al-Naklawi Dies
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Famous Egyptian preacher and Ibtihal reciter Sheikh Rafiq Ali al-Naklawi died on Wednesday.
Egyptian media reported that al-Naklawi died at dawn today, according to RT Arabic.
His funeral will be held in his hometown in the Beheira Governorate, north of the country.
Al-Naklawi was interested in listening to and performing Ibtihal recitation since early childhood.
He started learning Ibtihal at an early age and went on to become one of the renowned Inbtihal reciters of the country.
Ibtihal is recitation of supplications and eulogies, including those in praise of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
