TEHRAN (IQNA) – An Islamic Jihad resistance movement spokesman stressed that all of the Zionist regime’s attempts at Judaizing Palestinian lands will end in failure as long as Palestinians remain united.

Speaking at a gathering held after Friday prayers at a mosque in the Gaza Strip yesterday, Tariq Izz al-Din stressed that Palestinians will always be a united nation with one land.

The gathering was organized in support of Palestinians in al-Naqab who have been facing a crackdown by the Zionist regime.

Dozens of Palestinian Bedouins have been wounded in a crackdown by Israeli forces on a protest against continuing Israeli forestation work on land residents privately own near the southern city of Beer al-Sabe in Naqab.

Some 500 protesters took part in Thursday’s demonstration. They were met with hundreds of Israeli forces who fired rubber-coated bullets, tear gas, stun grenades, as well as skunk water.

Izz al-Din said that the Islamic Jihad movement, which is based in the Gaza Strip, will always support its fellow countrymen in other parts of Palestine, including in Naqab, the West Bank and Al-Quds, Paltoday.ps website reported.

He referred to the ‘Operation al-Quds Sword’ as an example of how resistance in Gaza support other Palestinians.

“We will support our fellow countrymen’s Intifada in Naqaba,” he stated.

Izz al-Din also called on all Palestinians in the West Bank and occupied territories to stand up against Zionist crackdown on the people of Naqab.

He further condemned the silence of the international community and certain regimes in the region on the Israeli crimes in Naqab.

The recent escalation in Naqab began on Monday, when bulldozers from the Jewish National Fund (JNF), a quasi-governmental agency, arrived with heavy Zionist regime police protection in the nearby village of al-Atrash and razed Bedouin farming lands, in order to plant trees.

Bedouin Palestinians protested against the move and confrontations have continued for days. Videos and images shared on social media showed Israeli forces violently arresting and beating residents who arrived to defend their lands.
