Islamic Research Foundation Exhibits 40 Works at Doha Intl. Book Fair
Attending special booth of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Islamic Research Foundation has put on display 40 works and it is now negotiating with other publishers to find new markets.
With 29 thousand square meters of space, the book fair hosts 430 Qatari and international publishers from 37 countries. Presence of 319 Arabic language publishers, 45 non-Arabic ones, and also presence of 90 representatives from active and distinguished publishers suggests notable growth of the event in comparison with the previous rounds of the fair. This growth has added to the prosperity of cultural activities and economy of publishing as well.
The 31st round of Doha International Book Fair was opened with the participation of Iran’s House of Book and Literature in with Qatar’s Prime Minister as well as minsters of interior and culture, a number of political officials including foreign ambassadors and some cultural figures in attendance at Doha Exhibition and Convention Center. This year’s slogan of the event is “Science Is Light”.
The Fair is open until January 22, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
