TEHRAN (IQNA) – Quran teacher training courses have been held in Herat, Afghanistan, since earlier this month.

The Iranian Cultural Center has launched the courses on the occasion of the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution’s victory, according to the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization.
The Madrasat-ul-Quran school in Herat cooperates in organizing the courses in a number of the city’s neighborhoods.
They started on February 1 and will run for twenty days, according to the report.
The participants receive Quranic lessons in a total of 80 hours.
A number of Quran experts of Herat teach the course.
Located in the western part of the country, Herat is the third-largest city in Afghanistan.
