They toured the city’s Martyrs Square, Egypt Square, Port Fuad district, and Ferial Park, El-Balad News reported.
The visits came after the conclusion of the contest.
The fifth edition of the international Quran contest annually held in Port Said kicked off in the city on Friday evening.
Quran memorizers from 66 countries are taking part in this edition of the international event, which concluded on Tuesday, February 22.
Three Islamic and Quranic characters of Egypt, namely member of the country’s Senior Scholars Society Ahmed Omar Hisham, prominent Quran reciter Ahmed Ahemd Noaina and head of the country’s Quran Radio Ridha Abdul Salam, were honored during the competition.
