Quran Contest for Girls Concludes in UAE

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The 22nd edition of a Quranic contest for young females concluded on Wednesday in Dubai.

 

The event was organized by Dubai International Holy Quran Award and individuals competed in different categories, according to emaratalyoum.com. 

Addressing the closing ceremony, Khawla Saeed Al Naboodah, deputy head of the women's movement in Dubai, said that such competitions help strengthen Islamic culture and encourage others to memorize the Quran. Appreciating the efforts of the organizers, she also said that these events will result in God's satisfaction.

Fatima Ibrahim Muhammad Ibrahim from the Foundation of the Noble Qur’an and Sunnah in Sharja, Aisha Muhammad Hussein Abdullah Al-Bahri from the Muhammad bin Salem bin Bakheet Center, Aisha Al Sibai Muhammad Muhammad Al-Bassiouni is one of the Maktoum Centers for the memorization of the Noble Qur’an, Taif Saud Muhammad Kulaib Al Tunaiji from the Ras Al Khaimah Foundation for the Holy Qur’an and its Sciences, Soraya Ahmed Ali Al Shehhi from the Maktoum Centers for the memorization of the Holy Quran, Zainab Askar Ahmed Massad Muhammad from the Riyadh Al-Salihin Center for the memorization of the Holy Qur’an, and Hoor Jamal Ahmed Al-Ajeel Al-Tunaiji from the Ras Al-Khaimah Foundation for the Holy Quran and its Sciences won top awards of six categories of the contest.
