Lebanese Resistance’s Steadfastness Foiled US Interference, Hezbollah Official Says
Wherever they have entered, the Americans have brought nothing but destruction, Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, head of Hezbollah’s Executive Council, said in a speech at a ceremony held to mark the Sha’aban Eids and the Teacher’s Day in Lebanon.
What the US brought to Lebanon is nothing but sanctions, destructions and ruin, he added, Al-Ahed News reported.
The Americans seek to spread their hegemony in the world and try to prevent the formation of any power that can bring about development in the region, he said.
That is why they have been trying to deal blows to the resistance in Lebanon since the beginning, Safieddine stated.
However, he added, they have failed due to the power and steadfastness of the resistance.
The cleric went on to say that moving toward real independence is the way forward for getting out of the current crises in Lebanon.
