It was organized at Imamzadeh Saleh (AS) with a number of religious and Quranic officials, including the head of Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization, in attendance.

Afrah Mashhadi, Zohreh Bani Ali, Azam Taqizadeh, Azizeh Taqizadeh, Zahra Zakeri and Mansour Aqamohammadi were the Quran activists whose services to the Holy Book were appreciated at the event.

It was part of a plan to honor a total of 114 Quran teachers in all provinces of the country.

A central committee made up of experts from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Dar-ol-Quran Karim Organization, Quran TV, and a number of other organizations have selected the activists to be honored in the plan.

The selection process considers a number of criteria such as being a memorizer of at least ten Juzes (parts) of the Quran and having at least 5 years of experience in teaching Quran memorization.
