TEHRAN (IQNA) – Deputy Office for Foreign Pilgrims Affairs of Imam Reza holy shrine has held different programs for non-Iranian pilgrims on the occasion of the International Quds Day.

The ceremony, which took place in Quds courtyard on April 28, was designed for Arab pilgrims. It started with the Holy Quran recitation, followed with a video clip of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution’s speech, and concluded with a lecture on ‘Quds Day, its significance, and fear of the Global Arrogance’ by Sheikh Muhammad Al-Za’bi, a professor from Al-Azhar University in Egypt. The ceremony was aimed at reviving this significant revolutionary occasion and encouraging pilgrims to attend Quds Day demonstrations.

Also, an international poetry night called ‘Al-Quds Lana’ (Quds belongs to us) was held in Persian, Urdu, Arabic, and Azeri languages starting at 21:00.

In another part of the event, kids presented the Quds message of the Leader of Islamic Revolution in Persian, Urdu, Arabic, and Azeri languages. This was followed by a declamation in Arabic and performance of a vocal group in five languages.

Quds courtyard of the holy shrine annually hosts a conceptual and visual exhibition for non-Iranian pilgrims to display Palestinians’ resistance and bravery in the face of the Israeli regime’s atrocities.

This year’s exhibition was underway between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm from April 28 to 29.
