Registration Begins for Quranic Education Program in Oman
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Oman’s Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs announced the opening for enrollment in the 7th edition of a Quranic education program.
The remote education program will be held for two months, Hilal bbin Hamoud al-Rayami, an official with the ministry said, shabiba.com reported.
He added that Omani citizens in the country and elsewhere as well as expatriates living in the country can register for the program.
According to the official, 10,000 men and women can enroll to take part in the Quranic education program.
It will include lessons on new methods of memorizing and reciting the Holy Quran, al-Rayami noted.
He said the ministry’s Quran scholar will teach the lesson via social networks and the participants will receive certificates of attendance at the end of the program.
The Quranic education initiative was first held in Oman in 2015.
