Daesh Attack Kills 9 Syrian Soldiers

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Nine soldiers of the Syrian Army were killed in an attack carried out by Daesh (ISIS or ISIL) terrorists in eastern Syria on Wednesday.

According to reports, more than 25 Syrian military forces have been killed in Syria by Daesh terrorists during the past four days.

Seven Daesh fighters have also been killed on Wednesday.

Violent clashes between the Syrian army and Daesh militants escalated in recent days in the country's remote province of Raqqa.

The clashes were preceded by an ambush of a bus carrying members of the Syrian army was attacked and the 15 soldiers on board were killed.
