Quran Should Be Focus of Cultural Activities for Families: Cleric

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The head of the Iranian Army’s Ideo-Political Organization underlined the need for the Quran and Quranic activities to be the focus of all cultural programs for families.   

Hojat-ol-Islam Ahmad Dehdar made the remark in a meeting of the country’s Quranic officials in Tehran on Monday, adding that promoting the profound Quranic teachings would contribute to the health of the family and society.

The enemy has targeted the institution of the family and its attempts should be thwarted, the cleric said, adding that proper Quranic and cultural planning would lead to significant results in this regard.

He said skilful and talented individuals should be employed to implement Quranic activities in order to enhance their effectiveness.

Being involved in Quranic activities is a blessing from God, he stated.

Hojat-ol-Islam Dehdar also stressed the need for development of Quranic activities in the cyberspace.

He went on to say that the Holy Quran is the greatest divine miracle and has the capacity to answer all of humanity’s needs.
