Emirati University Set to Hold Int’l Quranic Forum

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Al Qasimia University in the UAE is planned to hold the first edition of an international Quranic forum for students of colleges of the Holy Quran.

Al Qasimia University has completed all its preparations for holding the first international Quranic forum for students of the Colleges of the Holy Quran entitled “Methods of Teaching the Holy Quran in the Present Age – Roots of Deriving and Supply Efforts” on 22 September.

The forum, which is organized by the College of the Holy Qur’an in its first work with the start of the academic year 2022/2023, deals in its axes with a number of important topics related to the Holy Qur’an, represented in the methods of memorizing the Holy Qur’an, methods of teaching the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, methods of teaching the Qur’an drawing and its control, in addition to addressing methods of teaching Interpretation of the Holy Quran and methods of teaching Quranic readings.

​The College of the Noble Qur’an at Al Qasimia University, which was established in 2017 as the first college of the Noble Qur’an in the country, seeks through this forum to provide the scientific arena with valuable research and innovative suggestions.

The researches submitted by researchers will converge to shed light on the contribution to documenting the nation’s creations in the methods of teaching the Noble Qur’an, in addition to encouraging Qur’anic studies students to write solid scientific research and enhancing the values ​​of scientific communication and civilized dialogue among Qur’anic studies students. Scientific and cognitive for students of Quranic studies through acquiring experiences and exchanging information with professors and researchers in the colleges of the Holy Quran.

Prof. Awwad Al-Khalaf, Director of Al Qasimia University, stressed that the topic of the forum, “Methods of Teaching the Holy Qur’an in the Present Age – Roots of Deriving and Supply Efforts” will work to achieve many of the goals that the university seeks, represented by the College of the Holy Qur’an, which was established to sponsor the teaching of the Holy Qur’an, its readings, interpretation and sciences. According to a moderate and moderate approach to achieve the vision of Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah, and founder of Al Qasimia University.

For his part, Dr. Abdul Karim Othman, Dean of the College of the Holy Quran, explained that this forum, which is being held for the first time, comes with the participation of a number of Holy Quran colleges in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Morocco, Sudan and Egypt, and a number of researchers from various nationalities around the world will participate in scientific research to achieve the goals of the forum.
