IQNA – Embarking on a journey towards a pure and peaceful life is essential. This journey originates within ourselves and aims to distance us from wrongdoing and sins, ultimately leading to a serene existence.

Commitment Required for a Pure Life

To achieve a “Hayat Tayyaba”, understanding the concept of "Tayyab" is crucial. This word refers to “being good” or “becoming good” and this is what Islam and the Holy Quran emphasize.

Attaining purity in life goes beyond mere religious beliefs; our actions must align with divine laws, and we must refrain from inappropriate and unsightly conduct.

While having sincere faith in God is valuable, its true worth lies in translating that belief into righteous actions and following the right path.

Verse 97 of Surah An-Nahl says: “Whoever acts righteously, [whether] male or female, should he be faithful, We shall revive him with a good life and pay them their reward by the best of what they used to do.” Good deeds pave the way to a pure and fulfilling existence.

A pure life is something to be earned, requiring effort and commitment. The means to achieve it involve doing the right things and maintaining faith in life. By adopting this approach, one can even experience a heavenly life in the present, with the impact of righteous deeds purifying worldly life and yielding rewards in both this world and the Hereafter.

“Those who migrate for the sake of Allah after they have been wronged, We will surely settle them in a good place in the world, and the reward of the Hereafter is surely greater, had they known.” (Surah An-Nahl, verse 41)

Migration here is not limited to physical relocation but also encompasses the journey of the soul. Sin, viewed as cruelty to oneself, necessitates avoiding such actions to return to one's pure essence.
