Islamabad Hosting Hajj, Umrah Exhibition

IQNA – A two-day Haj and Umrah Exhibition was launched in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, on Saturday.

Hajj pilgrims in Mecca

 

The Allama Iqbal Auditorium of Faisal Masjid is hosting the event. 

The exhibition has been organized by Maul Islamia in collaboration with the Daawa Academy of International Islamic University during which a training session for intending pilgrims was also organized.

The event began with a recitation from Holy Quraan by Qari Abdul Rehman Al Bazai followed by recitation of Naat and Hamd by Khawaja Sultan Qamar who is Shariah Advisor of Riphah University.

Dr. Ziaul Haq apprised participants of his experiences during the performance of Hajj and Umrah.

Later, Maulana Salahuddin Ayubi delivered a detailed speech on Hajj. Dr. Asadullah presented an introduction of Maul Islamia while Executive Director of organization Merajuddin Saif talked about the aims and objectives of the exhibition.

During the training session, the organizers used the latest technology and used models of Haramain (Grand Mosque in Mecca and Prophet’s Mosque in Medina.

A large of intending pilgrims and others turned up at the exhibition and desired that such events should be organized regularly.
