Israeli police said that two suspects opened fire Tuesday evening on a boulevard in the Jaffa neighborhood in southern Tel Aviv.
Seven people were killed and another twelve were wounded, before the two suspects were "neutralized."
The attack came moments before a massive barrage of missiles from Iran sent Israelis across the occupied territories into bomb shelters, according to a post on X made by the Israeli regime’s army.
“The police forces are handling the scene under a missile attack,” the police said in a statement about the shooting.
Haim Sargarov, the police commander of the Tel Aviv district, told reporters that the attackers were “not Israelis.”
