IQNA – A Yemeni delegation visited the shrine of Imam Reza (AS) in Mashhad, also paying a visit to its central library.

Sayyid Mohammed Abdulazim al-Houthi, along with a seven-member delegation from Yemen, met with Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Jalal Hosseini, head of the Organization of Libraries, Museums, and Documentation Center of Astan Quds Razavi, as well as other senior officials.

The delegation toured various sections of the central library within the shrine complex.

During the meeting, Hosseini highlighted the library’s collection of valuable Quranic resources and noted its unique collection of texts from other religious traditions, such as the Torah and the Bible.

Hosseini also outlined the library’s extensive activities, including the services provided by the central library and its network of 60 affiliated libraries across Iran, which annually support a large number of scholars and researchers.
