The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) will release it, revealing which presidential candidates received their support in the 2024 election.
On Tuesday night, CAIR planned to text over 50,000 registered Muslim voters nationwide, asking if they voted and which presidential candidate they selected.
The 2024 national general election was held in the US on Tuesday. America’s estimated 2.5 million Muslim voters were positioned to once again play a crucial role in shaping the political landscape.
Over the weekend, CAIR sent over 300,000 text messages reminding registered Muslim voters across the county, including key swing states, to plan to vote and turn out on election day. CAIR sent a second-round follow-up message on Monday to 300,000 voters reminding Muslims about Tuesday’s general election.
Last Friday, CAIR released the results of its latest and final poll of Muslim voter preferences in the 2024 presidential election show that 42% now favor Green Party nominee Jill Stein for president while 41% favor Vice President Kamala Harris. This is a statistical tie similar to the 29% support each candidate received in CAIR’s late August survey.
