The gathering was held by the Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, a Pakistani Islamic political organization, to pay tribute to the martyrs of resistance.
It was also attended by a large number of political, religious and social figures and media personalities.
Speakers included political and religious figures from both the Shia and Sunni schools of thought.
They highlighted different aspects of the characters and braveries of resistance leaders like Sayed Hassan Nasrallah, Lt. General Qassem Soleimani, Ismail Haniyeh, Yahya Sinwar and Hashem Safieddine, describing them as source of pride for the Muslim Ummah.
They also described the Zionist regime as an enemy of humanity that understands only the language of force.
That is why there is a need for Muslim and freedom-loving nations of the world to confront the occupation regime, the speakers at the gathering said.
