IQNA – A special Quranic circle was held at the Imam Hussein (AS) Shrine in Karbala, attended by over a thousand pilgrims.

The event took place on Friday, November 22, in collaboration with the Youth Cultural Association and the holy shrine.

More than a thousand pilgrims from Basra attended to commemorate the Fatimiyya days—the anniversary of the martyrdom of Hazrat Zahra (SA), the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) daughter.

The program began with the recitation of Quranic verses by the shrine's qaris, including Seyed Abdullah Hosseini and Morteza Al-Hafez.

Following the recitations, Ali Al-Madhoush, a representative of the Basra delegation, delivered a speech.

Participants were honored by the Dar Al-Quran of the shrine, with certificates of appreciation distributed among the reciters and officials of the Basra Quranic delegation.
