Hojat-ol-Islam Morteza Javadi Amoli, the son of the eminent scholar, said at a press conference in Qom on Saturday that the ceremony, slated for February 20, 2025, will be addressed by Ayatollah Ali Reza Aarafi, the president of the Islamic Seminaries.
He said similar ceremonies are also going to be organized in a number of other countries.
He noted that the Tasnim Exegesis of the Holy Quran, which has been printed in 80 volumes, is the result of Ayatollah Javadi Amoli’s Tafsir (interpretation) lessons presented over 40 years.
He said a research study conducted about the Quran interpretation has also concluded with the completion of the grand work.
The exegesis covers all Quran interpretation subjects discussed by Shia and Sunni scholars, he stated.
Ayatollah Javadi Amoli has offered the exegesis with a Hadith, philosophical, ethical, theological, … approach so that it would benefit the academic and scholarly society and researchers in humanities, he added.
Hojat-ol-Islam Javadi Amoli, who heads the Isra International Foundation for Revelation Sciences, further said that a Tasnim Exegesis department is planned to be launched at the foundation in which researchers and scholars will provide answers to questions and views about the Quran interpretation.
The Tasnim Exegesis of the Holy Quran is the most detailed interpretation of the Holy Book in the history of Islam.
Its name comes from the verses 27 and 28 of Surah Al-Mutaffifin: “And the admixture of it is a water of Tasnim. A fountain from which drink they who are drawn near (to Allah).”

In addition to the three main sources of Tafsir, namely the Quran, Sunnah and Aql (intellect), the Arabic literature and the words of philosophers and mystics have been used in writing this interpretation.
The sessions began in 1980 and finished in April 2020.
The Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) selected the work in 2006 as the “Top Research Work in the Field of Islamic and Quranic Studies”.
