Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Akbar Ojaghnejad made the remark at a ceremony held at the mosque on Saturday evening to honor those serving the Mid-Shaaban pilgrims.

He said the 800 groups set up Moukebs (booths) to provide votive foods and beverages and serve the pilgrims.

Highlighting the widespread public enthusiasm for the Mid-Shaaban celebrations in Qom, he highlighted the need for providing certain infrastructure, including the expansion of parking facilities and access routes to the Jamkaran Mosque.

He said that in these areas, executive bodies and relevant authorities should make the necessary planning.

The Mid-Shaaban Eid, marking the birth anniversary of Imam Zaman (may God hasten his glad advent), falls on the 15th day of the lunar Hijri month of Shaaban.
