The foreign ministers of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (PGCC) countries (Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, and Kuwait) as well as those from Egypt, Syria, Morocco, and Jordan will take part in the gathering, which is slated for March 6.
They will discuss the developments in the region, especially the Gaza situation and the situation in Syria, especially the Israeli regime’s attacks on the country.
Arab states have strongly condemned Israeli airstrikes on Syria, viewing them as repeated violations of international law that threaten regional stability.
They have also reaffirmed their solidarity with Syria, emphasizing the need for the international community to prevent further escalation.
The Mecca conference will be organized two days after an emergency meeting of the Arab world leaders in Cairo.
