Titled “Al-Maqraa” project, it offers Quranic education in 10 different languages.
President of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque Abdulrahman Al-Sudais inaugurated the program, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Tuesday.
Al-Sudais on the occasion said that Al-Maqraa is an international Quranic education platform that combines authenticity, modern methods, rigorous methodology, and AI technology.
“This inauguration is a Ramadan gift from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to all Muslims and visitors to the Grand Mosque of Mecca,” he said.
Al-Maqraa offers a comprehensive program for Quranic recitation, Tajweed, and memorization, supervised by qualified teachers.
It includes a robust Sharia-compliant administrative system to monitor performance in Quran study circles, detailed analytical reports, a motivating educational environment, flexible enrollment in study circles, and an integrated system for issuing accredited Quran recitation certificates.
The project aims to promote Islamic values among Quran memorization students at the Grand Mosque while providing a flexible learning environment.
