Imam Ali Shrine Decorated with Flowers on Hazrat Zahra Birth Anniversary

IQNA – As the anniversary of the birth of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (AS) approaches, thousands of natural flower branches have adorned the courtyard and the hall of the holy shrine of Imam Ali (AS).

The holy shrine of Imam Ali (AS) in Najaf, Iraq, has been decorated with flowers on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (AS).

 

According to the website of the mausoleum’s Astan (custodianship) the Decoration Unit of the Astan continues its work in preparation for celebrating the auspicious occasion. 

It has been working in the field of decoration and flower arrangements at the shrine of the Commander of the Faithful (AS) and its blessed porches in recent days.

Baraq Hadi, head of the Decoration Unit, told the news center that this year’s preparations included placing natural rose wreaths in the corridors and blessed porches of the holy shrine, which numbered more than 11,000 natural rose branches.

He added that the unit has also completed the decoration of the corridors of the Hazrat Fatima (SA) courtyard as well as the preparations for the special celebrations of the “Ifaf (Chastity) Week” and its various activities inside the holy shrine, aimed at highlighting the beauty and sanctity of this occasion.

He explained that these works are part of a comprehensive program that Astan has prepared to commemorate this auspicious occasion, create a spiritual atmosphere worthy of the status of Hazrat Zahra (SA), and establish the values ​​of chastity in the holy city of Najaf.
