51 Quran Translations Presented at Mecca Quran Exhibition

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Holy Quran exhibition in Mecca held on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan has put on display translations of the Holy Quran in 51 languages.

 

According to alriyadh.com, the exhibition has been visited by hundreds of Umrah pilgrims during the holy month.

Mahir Al-Zahrani, deputy of museums and exhibitions affairs in Mecca, said that the exhibition was mounted on the first day of Ramadan and will run until the end of the holy month.

Besides the Quran translations, there are historical books and manuscripts as well as the parts of the Kiswa (cover) of Ka’baa presented at the exhibition.

He added that digital versions of Quran translations presented at the expo can also be downloaded on mobile phones of the visitors.

A documentary on the process of weaving and washing the Kiswa has been screened for the visitors.

A Digital bag, including a collection of Quranic and Islamic digital books written by Sunni scholars, and sayings about the Holy Quran are the other parts of the exhibition.
