Iran’s FM Hosts Muslim Countries’ Envoys in Iftar Event

IQNA – An Iftar (fast-breaking) event was held by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on Monday for ambassadors and representatives of Muslim countries in Tehran.

Iran’s FM hosted Muslim countries’ envoys to Tehran in Iftar event on March 17, 2025.

 

“Last night, we hosted a gathering of esteemed ambassadors from Islamic countries residing in Tehran for an iftar dinner,” he wrote in a social media post on Tuesday. 

“It was an opportunity to discuss the expansion of diplomatic relations, the strengthening of multilateral cooperation, and the deepening of cultural and religious ties among Islamic countries,” Araghchi said

“The recent challenges and events in our region clearly highlight the necessity for deep unity and solidarity among Islamic countries during this critical time,” he went on to say.
