Guests from several foreign countries, including North Macedonia and Ethiopia took part in the ceremony, ILKHA reported.

The event is organized in different provinces of Turkey every year by the Prophet’s Lovers Foundation.

This year’s celebration was held in Diyarbakir with the motto: “Leader of Resistance; Prophet Muhammad”.

Biram Ibrahimov, who attended the event from North Macedonia, said, “This kind of program makes us very happy. What brought us here from Macedonia is our love for the Messenger of Allah (PBUH). We participated in the program two years ago, but this year is completely different. On the one hand, we feel love for the Prophet, and on the other hand, we are saddened by the injustice and oppression that our brothers in Palestine are suffering.”

He added, “We ask Allah to strengthen our unity and harmony. We must pray hard for an end to this oppression.”

He also said that such programs should be held not only in Turkey, but all over the Islamic world.

Mohamed Nagashi from Ethiopia who is in Turkey for his postgraduate studies in international relations said, “I have a special feeling today. I didn’t expect such a surprising program. Today we celebrate the birth of our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and we spend wonderful times listening to his fragrant biography and loving words. At the same time, we will not forget our brothers in Gaza. This program may seem small compared to their suffering.”

Speakers emphasized the importance of promoting these religious occasions to strengthen Islamic spirituality and unity of the nation in the face of the challenges and inequalities facing Muslims around the world.
