ICRO Chief to Hold Talks with Russian Religious, Cultural Officials

IQNA – The head of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization has traveled to Moscow to take part in a meeting of the culture ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s culture ministers.

Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Mehdi Imanipour was welcomed by officials from the Iranian embassy and Hojat-ol-Islam Bakhtavar, head of the Islamic Center of Moscow, upon arriving in the Russian capital.

In addition to addressing the OIC culture ministers’ gathering, Hojat-ol-Islam Imanipour will meet and hold talks with some Russian cultural and religious figures, including the head of the Religious Administration of Muslims of Russia, the Mufti and the archbishop of the Republic of Tatarstan, the head of the Russian Committee for Religious Dialogue between Iran and the Orthodox Church, and the head of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
