Ayatollah Sistani Slams ‘Henious’ Israeli Attacks on Iran

“The criminal act carried out by the occupying Zionist regime in the early hours of Friday—resulting in the martyrdom of a number of Iranian scientists, military commanders, and civilians, including women and children, as well as attacks on several of the country’s academic and scientific institutions—once again demonstrates the aggressive and dangerous nature of this regime,” Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Sistani wrote in a Friday statement.

“While praying for mercy and elevated ranks for the noble martyrs, extending condolences to their respected families, and wishing a swift recovery for the injured and affected, we strongly condemn this heinous act,” he said.
