Message of Iran’s Response to US Aggression: No Safe Place for America in Region
Esmaeil Kowsari, member of the Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, made the remark after Iranian armed forces launched a missile operation against a key American base in Qatar in retaliation for the US attack on its peaceful nuclear sites.
Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC), under direct guidance from the Supreme National Security Council and led by the Central Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters, announced that it had carried out a “destructive and powerful missile assault” on Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar on Monday evening.
The operation—coded “Basharat Fath” and invoked in the name of Imam Hussein—represents Iran’s first military retaliation after US airstrikes targeted its Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan nuclear sites.
The enemies did not expect Iran to respond quickly, decisively, and with a single blow, Kowsari told IQNA in an interview.
“They thought they could bring the Islamic Republic to its knees in a few days by imposing pressure and resorting to assassination and sabotage operations, but that did not happen. The Iranian nation and our country’s armed forces entered the field with authority and demonstrated the upper hand in action; in such a way that the occupied Palestinian territories one after another were hit by (Iran’s) precision missiles.”
He noted that Iran responded to the US attack on its nuclear sites less than 20 hours after the aggression, stressing that the enemies must know that from now on, there will be no calm for any US base in the region.
“This Iranian response is only part of our legitimate response. Along with military measures, the diplomatic path is also being pursued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, but unfortunately, institutions such as the United Nations and the International Atomic Energy Agency operate completely under the influence of the United States and the Zionist regime and do not state the facts.”
The parliamentarian said the Islamic Republic of Iran has never deviated from the path of rationality, law, and logic.
“All our actions are based on calculated and purposeful principles. The missiles that are used are precise and predetermined. In the words of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, America must withdraw its from the West Asian region, otherwise those present in American bases must be prepared to return in coffins.”
Regarding the national solidarity and cohesion that changed the enemy’s calculations, he said this anger of the people, internal unity, and unparalleled cohesion in recent ceremonies and gatherings, even among some critics of the ruling system, reflect the nation’s commitment to the ideals of the revolution and the leadership. We have no illegal demands and we do not pressure anyone by force, but if the enemy wants to use the language of force, the Iranian nation will stand up to them.”

He went on to say that if the Americans had any sense, they would know that bullying does not solve problems.
“They should have continued the path of negotiation, not attacked a country that does not even have a single atomic bomb, while they themselves have thousands of nuclear warheads. This shows that their problem is not the essence of Iran's nuclear program.
“Even if we withdraw from the nuclear program, tomorrow they will turn to the missile program, then they will say, ‘Get out of the region’, and ultimately they will target the very essence of the Islamic Republic. But the Iranian nation, with full awareness, has a correct understanding of the situation, and is standing strong in the field. God willing, in the near future, the final victory will belong to the Iranian nation.”
