Iran to Make US Regret Its Act of Aggression: Parliament Speaker
The hallucinated US president finally made his strategic mistake of supporting the Zionist criminal gang and directly entered the war with Iran, Ghalibaf said at an open session of the parliament on Monday, following the US’ airstrikes on three Iranian nuclear sites on Sunday.
He described the airstrikes on Iranian sites while indirect negotiations were underway as an attack on diplomacy and rationality.
“Although we consider this attack to be the result of the (Zionist) regime’s strategic failure to achieve its goals, we will not tolerate it and will definitely respond in a way that will make gambler Trump regret attacking our beloved country Iran,” he added.
Ensuring security and preserving Iran’s territorial integrity requires that any attacker on the country’s soil regret their actions so that in the future no one dares to dream about violating the territorial integrity of Iran, he underlined.
Ghalibaf also said that the parliament is considering to pass a law that requires Iran to stop cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) until guarantees are given about the IAEA’s professional behavior.
US forces targeted Iran’s nuclear facilities early on Sunday, joining the Israeli regime in attacking Iran.
The Zionist regime had launched its aggression on Iran on June 13, killing scores of people, mostly civilians.
