Oman’s Grand Mufti Hails Iran’s Triumph
Sheikh Ahmad bin Hamad al-Khalili congratulated Iran on its victory over the usurping Israeli regime in a post on his personal X (formerly Twitter) account.
He wrote, “By God’s will, the US attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities had no significant impact.”
He added, “I congratulate Iran’s leadership and nation, and I thank the brave heroes of Yemen for their unwavering faith and heroic resistance.”
Referring to the enemy’s failure to achieve its objectives, the senior cleric described the event as a sign of Iran’s strength and steadfastness, extending his congratulations to its leadership and people.
He also expressed gratitude to Yemen’s nation and courageous fighters for their heroic stand and sincere support of their true allies, calling this solidarity a model of religious zeal and Islamic unity that heralds a bright future.
Citing a Hadith of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), he emphasized that Muslims must never abandon their brothers in faith and should support one another in times of hardship.
Al-Khalili expressed hope that this unity would pave the way for the liberation of holy sites and the complete emancipation of Islamic lands from occupiers.

The Mufti further stated that faith, unity, and divine assistance are the keys to the imminent victory of Muslims, stressing the eventual return of the Islamic Ummah to its era of glory and prosperity.
