Iran’s Quranic Community to Commemorate Former IRGC Chief, Other Quranic Martyrs

IQNA – A ceremony to commemorate Martyr Lieutenant General Hossein Salami, the late commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps, and other Quranic martyrs of the Zionist regime’s attack on Iran will be held tomorrow, July 23, 2025.

Lieutenant General Hossein Salami, the late commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps, was a memorizer of the Quran and Nahj al-Balagha who was martyred on June 13 during the Israeli regime’s military aggression on Iran.

 

The Iranian Quranic community will organize the memorial service at Al-Zahra (SA) Husseiniya (religious center) in Tehran.

It will begin after Maghrib and Isha prayers and is expected to be attended by Quran activists and the family of the martyrs.

Lieutenant General Hossein Salami was a memorizer of the Quran and Nahj al-Balagha who was martyred on June 13 during the Israeli regime’s military aggression on Iran.  

More than 1,000 Iranians, including military commanders, scientists, and ordinary people were martyred in the attacks launched against the country by the Zionist regime on June 13.
