Ceremony Marks Launch of New Quranic Center in Southern Lebanon
Maaroub is a municipality in the Tyre District of Southern Lebanon’s South Governorate.
The ceremony was attended by the mayor of the city, activists, figures and religious scholars, residents of the region, and the families of Lebanese martyrs.
Hassan Ezzedine, a member of the Loyalty to the Resistance faction in the Lebanese parliament, addressed the event, congratulating the region on the opening of this center and its affiliated department.
He highlighted the developments in Lebanon and those related to the resistance, saying, “When we talk about resistance, we do not believe in sectarian and religious resistance, because the resistance fighters are followers of the truth and Islam, and their religion and belief are based on confronting falsehood.”
He lamented seeing images of genocide in Palestine and Gaza being published in the media, saying the world has remained silent in the face of this genocide.
“We are proud of our heroes and resilient leaders who sacrificed themselves for our honor and pride so that we can live and the homeland remains free and independent,” he added.
Referring to the situation in Lebanon, Ezzedine emphasized, “What the Zionist enemy is doing today has gone beyond the issue of violations and has become a continuous aggression against Lebanon, the intensity of which sometimes increases and sometimes decreases, and is repeated at the level of violating Lebanese sovereignty in the air, sea, and land.”
Under the pretext that these places are the infrastructure of the resistance, the enemy commits aggression, crimes, killings, violations of borders, and the destruction of homes and any place it does not like, while the Lebanese army, UNIFIL forces, and international organizations clearly and publicly acknowledge that there is no infrastructure for the resistance south of the Litani River, he stated.

Lebanon and the resistance have adhered to the ceasefire resolution and its provisions, but the enemy continues its insistence on aggression and crimes, he deplored.
Ezzedine went on to say that the US and Israel are implementing a strategy that clearly shows their reality and essence.
“The Israeli regime is America’s hand to hit the region, and everything it does is inspired, planned, and encouraged by America.
“When Israel is defeated, America directly gets involved (to help it), and this was clearly demonstrated in the Zionist regime’s aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
