Mecca Int’l Quran Competition Broadcast on Grand Mosque Screens

IQNA – The competitions in the international Quranic event in Mecca were broadcast live on giant screens at the Grand Mosque.

The 45th edition of King Abdulaziz International Competition for the Holy Quran Memorization, Recitation, and Interpretation has been underway in the holy city since Saturday, August 9, 2025.

 

The 45th edition of King Abdulaziz International Competition for the Holy Quran Memorization, Recitation, and Interpretation has been underway in the holy city since Saturday.

The Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance broadcast the final qualifying rounds of the contest on giant screens at the Grand Mosque.

The streaming on large screens allowed visitors and attendees to listen to the recitations live while viewing detailed information about each contestant, including their name and country.

Additionally, the ministry designated a fully equipped, separate hall for women, enabling female worshippers to follow the final rounds comfortably.
