The ministry said registration for these competitions began on Saturday, September 6 and will continue until Friday, September 12, Al-Naba reported.
The Quran and Ibtihal competitions will be held under the supervision of the Sheikh of Al-Azhar and the Egyptian Awqaf minister with the cooperation of an Egyptian charitable institution.
They are open to both men and women and will be held in the age group of 3 to 18 years.
Participants must be proficient in the rules of Tajweed and recitation.
The preliminary stage of the competitions will take place from September 14 to 25, 2025.
The finals are scheduled to be held from September 28 to October 2, 2025, with valuable prizes planned to be awarded to the top contestants.
