The event was organized by the Erenler Foundation, which has operated educational programs at the Ismailağa Madrasah in Istanbul’s Fatih district since 1997. The foundation said its curriculum includes Quran memorization, Arabic and advanced Islamic studies.

Participants who completed their studies between 2022 and 2025 received their certificates during the ceremony. The day began with a procession from Ismailağa Mosque to Yavuz Sultan Selim Mosque, where students holding roses walked alongside family members.

The program included Quran recitations, speeches and the presentation of certificates.

According to organizers, religious figures, community representatives and local participants attended the event.

In a statement, foundation officials said the gathering aimed to “support a new generation committed to the Quran.” They also noted that the ceremony was “not only a graduation, but a symbol of service to Quranic teachings.”
