IQNA – The Second International Conference on Religion, Culture and Technology will be organized in Tehran, with artificial intelligence being one of the main themes of the event.

Being organized jointly by Sharif University of Technology, Baqer-ol-Ulum University and the University of Tehran, the conference will focus on cyberspace and artificial intelligence.

The conference will take place in the holy city of Qom and Tehran from May 4 to 7, 2026.

It is aimed at explaining the relationship between religion, culture, and technology in the era of digital transformation and examining the cultural and ethical consequences of the spread of artificial intelligence in religious communities.

The deadline for submitting abstracts of papers and innovative ideas is November 22, 2025, and the deadline for submitting the original paper is January 21, 2026.

The main themes of this scientific event include topics such as ‘The Relationship between Religion and Technology in Virtual Life’, ‘Cultural Transformations Caused by Artificial Intelligence’, ‘Ethics and Spirituality in the Age of New Technologies’, ‘Challenges and Opportunities of Cyberspace for Religious Communities’, and ‘Indigenous Models of Technology Development within the Framework of Islamic Culture’.
