Quran A Strong Rope of Allah, A Guiding Light in Valley of Doubts: Senior Cleric
“As the Quran itself states, it is a light, shining in the heart of darkness; a guiding light in the valley of doubts and misguidance,” Grand Ayatollah Jafar Sobhani said in a message to the closing ceremony of the 30th Quranic congress of SAMPAD schools.
The text of this message is as follows:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, and may peace and blessings be upon our Master Muhammad and his pure family, and may Allah’s curse be upon all of their enemies from now until the Day of Judgment.
The Holy Quran is one of the two precious things that the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) left behind to be, along with the pure progeny (peace be upon them), the guarantor of happiness and guidance for mankind until the Day of Judgment.
Yes, this “Habl Allah Al-Mateen” and the solid connection between the earth and the sky, as the Quran itself states, is a shining light in the heart of darkness; a guiding lamp in the valley of doubts and misguidance.
Blessed are those who serve this divine book in any way; whether by reciting, memorizing and learning it or by interpreting, explaining, teaching and promoting its lofty concepts among society.
And blessed are you, dear students and brilliant talents, as well as the participants and organizers of this luminous congress who are sincerely walking on the path of the Quran.
