
The scholarly event is scheduled to be held on Friday and Saturday, November 7 and 8.
The conference is being held with the initiative of the Dar al-Rasoul Al-Azam (PBUH), affiliated with the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs, in cooperation with the Faculty of Basic Education for Girls at Al-Ameed University.
It is centered on Verse 2 of Surah Al-Bayyinah: “A Messenger (Muhammad) from God, reciting to them parts of the purified.”
The activities of this conference will begin at 9:00 AM on November 7 in the Imam Hassan Mujtaba (AS) Hall of Al-Ameed University.
The conference will discuss five main topics:
1- Quranic guidelines in writing the biography of the Prophet (PBUH) in the Islamic heritage (methodology of those who have studied the Prophet's campaigns, methodology of hadith scholars, methodology of commentators and methodology of Muslim historians).
2- Historical sources and Quranic constants among contemporary scholars in studying the biography of the Prophet (PBUH).
3- Linguistic and literary methods in studying the biography of the Prophet (PBUH) from a Quranic perspective (linguistic methodologies, literary methodologies, rhetorical methodologies and linguistic methodologies).
4- The use of the Holy Quran in the writings of Orientalists on the biography of the Prophet (methodologies of ecclesiastical studies, methodologies of modern orientalist studies and methodologies of contemporary orientalist studies).

This conference aims to highlight the noble biography of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), as a comprehensive human and scientific approach, and to present it in the light of Quranic constants (monotheism, prophecy, and resurrection) and contemporary intellectual developments in scientific research methods.
