Plan for Holding Martyr Salami Quranic Award Finalized

IQNA – An Iranian official announced the finalization of a plan to hold the Martyr Hossein Salami Quranic Award in the country.

Morteza Khedmatkar Arani, a senior Islamic Culture and Guidance Ministry official, considered this award as one of the most important national programs in the field of Quran memorization.
He said preparations for its implementation have been finalized.

The aim of this plan is to identify, rank and celebrate institutions, organizations and centers active in the field of discourse-building for Quran memorization, he said.

“In this plan, the performance of Quranic institutions and activists across the country is monitored to recognize the best in the field of discourse creation and promotion of Quran memorization.”

He added that with the formation of the policy-making council, the titles and various sections of the award, including in the field of books, software, educational products and other products related to memorizing the Holy Quran, will be clearly specified and its criteria will be communicated.

Khedmatkar went on to say that the ultimate goal of this award is to turn it into a reference and influential event at the national level so that it can identify superior capacities and pave the way for the development and strengthening of the Holy Quran memorization process in the country.
