IQNA – Iranians from all walks of life took part in rallies held Wednesday across the country to mark the 47th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution.

Iranians from all walks of life took part in rallies held Wednesday, February 11, 2026, across the country to mark the 47th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution.

The massive demonstrations were organized in the capital Tehran and other cities of the country with the slogan “Powerful Iran, Victorious Nation”.

The enthusiastic presence of the people in the rallies was a renewal of the covenant with the ideals of the Islamic Revolution.

Today, the Iranian nation once again emphasized independence, freedom, and national dignity. Many participants, chanting revolutionary slogans, reiterated resistance to foreign pressures and threats and considered their presence a practical response to the ill-wishers of the system.

This large presence was a tangible manifestation of attention to the advice and instructions of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, who has emphasized disappointing enemies through unity and presence on the scene.

The people of Iran showed that despite all the problems and challenges, adherence to the ideals of the Islamic Revolution is still alive and well in the context of society.

This year’s marches, like previous years, were a scene of national cohesion and a demonstration of popular authority.

On the sidelines of the rally in Tehran, the Aerospace Force of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) displayed some of its defense capabilities and ballistic missiles.

Also a number of drones belonging to the Zionist regime that were shot down by Iranian air defenses during the 12-day war in June 2025 were publicly displayed in Tehran’s Azadi Square.

Every year, millions of Iranians across the country observe ten days of celebrations marking the anniversary of the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution that put an end to the monarchy of the US-backed Pahlavi regime in the country.

The day of Imam Khomeini’s return to Iran (February 1 this year) marked the beginning of the Ten-Day Fajr, which culminates with rallies on the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution on February 11.

The Iranian nation toppled the US-backed Pahlavi regime 47 years ago, ending the 2,500 years of monarchic rule in the country.

The Islamic Revolution spearheaded by the late Imam Khomeini established a new political system based on Islamic values and democracy.
