
Muhammad Raad, head of the parliamentary faction “Loyalty to Resistance” was assassinated in an Israeli airstrike, Buratha reported.
He was martyred in an Israeli assassination operation south of Beirut, according to RT.
There have been no official reactions to the reports on his assassination.
Raad, who was one of Hezbollah’s most prominent figures and a symbol of resistance and steadfastness, had recently been appointed as the deputy of Hezbollah’s secretary general.
Born in 1955 in Beirut, he was a member of parliament since 1992 and led the Loyalty to Resistance faction in the parliament since 2000.

With his strategic view, he had managed to turn the balance of power in Lebanon in favor of the resistance front.

Meanwhile, Lebanese media also reported that more than 20 people have been martyred in Israeli strikes on southern Lebanon on Monday morning.
Some sources said more than 60 others have been wounded in the attacks.
