IQNA – The Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah targeted the Ramat David airbase in northern occupied Palestine with a coordinated drone attack, it said on Tuesday.

The movement attacked radar sites and control rooms in retaliation for Israel’s “criminal aggression” against Lebanese cities.

The Lebanese resistance movement officially declared that its forces launched the attack at 5:00 AM local time on March 3, using a fleet of offensive drones to strike the airbase.

Hezbollah stated in a release that the operation was a direct response to Israeli regime’s recent airstrikes, which had killed dozens of men, women, and children across Lebanon, wounded many more, and destroyed civilian infrastructure, spreading terror and displacing innocent residents from their homes.

The statement emphasized Hezbollah’s commitment to defending Lebanese territory and its people, particularly as Israel’s criminal actions have “crossed red lines.”

Unlike Israel, which is deliberately targeting civilians, the Lebanese resistance movement said its response focused solely on military sites, describing the strike as “the least that must be done to deter and halt the dangerous objectives of this regime against Lebanon, its people, and its resistance.”
