The spokesperson of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters said in a statement that the IRGC’s forces dealt heavy and decisive blows to the enemy’s bases and sensitive strategic centers in the region on Tuesday night.

The response was part of Operation True Promise-4 and in response to the “criminal and aggressive American-Zionist aggression,” the spokesperson added.

The United States and Israel launched a war of aggression against Iran on Saturday morning by assassinating Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei and top military commanders, despite indirect Tehran-Washington negotiations.

Within the framework of its legitimate response, the Iranian Armed Forces immediately initiated decisive missile and drone strikes against US bases in the region and the Israeli-occupied territories.
